‘Vibrance @ Yishun’ Self-Help Groups Centre

The ‘Vibrance @ Yishun’ Self-Help Groups Centre is a collaboration of the four Self-Help Groups: the Chinese Development Assistance Council (CDAC), The Eurasian Association, Singapore (EA), the Singapore Indian Development Association (SINDA) and Yayasan MENDAKI (MENDAKI).

Besides providing a common space for the different races to bond and integrate, the SHGs Centre also organises programmes to serve all ethnic groups, such as educational programmes for students and talks and workshops for parents. Each SHG also conducts programmes specifically to meet the needs of their communities.

Fee Waivers: The SHGs provide fee waivers to eligible students from low-income families to attend educational programmes conducted by the Centre.

Centre-run Programmes

Application for the 2025 Tuition Programme will start from 14 October 2024.

Secondary One students in 2025 may start to apply from 18 December 2024 after the release of school posting results.

Applications for kidsREAD 2024 have closed on 31 May 2024.

More information on kidsREAD 2025 will be released in November 2024.

Interest-Based and Holiday Programmes

We offer Interest-Based Programmes like Arts & Craft, Speech & Drama and Music. We offer interest-based programmes in arts, speech, drama, and music and instruments to engage children in activities and learning experiences aligned with their interests and passions.

Besides the Centre-run programmes, each SHG would also organise SHGs-run programmes targeting its community.
